Then enjoy finger lickin’ main courses, from their Friday’s Festive Turkey & Cranberry Burger to a full rack of Classic Ribs with Legendary Glaze. Wrap up the evening with our favourite Friday’s Chocolate Orange — a decadent chocolate brownie served with tangy orange sorbet.

And if you’re not looking for the night to end, they’ve got sorted! You can now swap out your dessert for a festive cocktail…Why not go for a ‘Baileys Chocolate Orange’ — an indulgent mix of Baileys, Cointreau, cream and chocolate bitters, topped with a flurry of chocolate flakes. If alcohol isn’t your vibe, try the ‘Driving Home for Christmas’ — a festive treat of Seedlip Spice 94 alcohol free spirit, grenadine and ginger beer.

The Slug and Lettuce always put on fabulous seasonal celebrations, and their Christmas Menu is no different! If you’re looking for a traditional Christmas cuisine with British contemporary decor, then this is the place for you. 

With the choice between 2 and 3-course set menus, take your pick and sink your teeth into a Christmas Turkey with a Pork, Cranberry & Fig Stuffing, Pigs-In-Blankets, classic Roasties, Parsnips, Seasonal Veg and lashing of Red Wine Gravy. 

There are also vegan options including the Smoked Cheese and Beetroot Tart: a beetroot pastry tart filled with Vegan Cheese, Butternut Squash and Onion Chutney, and served with Roasties, Parsnips, Seasonal Veg and Cranberry Gravy on the side.

The festive treats continue with a Christmas Pudding, filled with juicy sultanas, cider and rum, served with boozy brandy sauce. There’s also an on-brand Passionfruit Pavlova, topped with a prosecco, vodka, mango & passion fruit compote, and served with Champagne sorbet. 

Enjoy 2 courses for £22.99 Sunday to Tuesday, or £25.99 Wednesday to Saturday. 3 Courses are £24.99 from Sunday to Tuesday and £29.99 Wednesday to Saturday.

Pizza Express never disappoints and with this season’s offer of a 5 Course Christmas Tasting Menu from £24.95, it’s a no brainer! This December, indulge in a seemingly endless banquet, from appetisers of Slow Roasted Tomatoes, to-share plates of Dough Balls and starters of Melanzanine: Grilled aubergine, Italian tomato sauce, garlic, mozzarella and Gran Milano cheese. 

Choose one of their Christmas Pizza Specials or Customer Favourites per person, served on a Classic base (or upgrade to a Romana base for £1.95). Our personal favorite is the Porchetta; slow-cooked Italian pulled pork, on a white béchamel base, topped with crispy pancetta, mozzarella, garlic oil, fennel seeds and Gran Milano cheese…Delicious!

For pudding, good luck choosing between their Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake, Salted Caramel Profiteroles or Chocolate Brownie!

You’re able to add some festive sparkle with a drink pairing too, from £9.95, they offer Prossecco, Grecanico Chardonnay and Nero d’Avola Shiraz (all Italian of course) or finish off your meal with a classic Italian digestivo, Limoncello.
