Popular restaurant and bar Slug & Lettuce at the Touchwood Shopping Centre is promising a “bigger and better range of vegan dishes and drinks” this year – pretty exciting stuff!
They certainly have a lot on offer, with options including tantalising BBQ Jackfruit Bao steamed buns, vegan sandwiches, vegan cheese tarts and curries. And, of course, we can’t forget their popular Moving Mountains Vegan Burger: red pepper hummus, smoky soya sloppy joe and vegan cheese in a toasted beetroot sesame seed bun.
Is your mouth watering yet?

If you thought going vegan meant going boring, think again.
Co-founders Frankie Heekin and Becky Powell launched BA-HA in 2018 to deliver the very best of plant-based food in Birmingham, and they certainly don’t disappoint.
We’re particularly keen on the Bostin Burger: BA-HA’s very own secret recipe patty with vegan cheese, onion, gherkin, mustard, garlic mayo and mixed leaf on a brioche style bun served with seasoned chips.
Plant-tastic.

Wagamama is a well-loved staple for many, but did you know they have an extensive vegan menu? They’ve even gone all out this year and created a new Veganuary exclusive dish, specifically to tempt us to give plants a go – Tempura F-ish and Bang Bang Yaki-imo, a Japanese-inspired take on the British classic Fish and Chips.
They promise that it will tempt even the biggest meat-lovers to try going plant-based, so you really won’t want to miss this one!

Recent award-winning vegan takeaway Dhalings take great pride in their 100% plant-based, dairy-free, nut-free menu by offering a wide range of authentic South Asian meals.
Their recipes are based upon creating great tasting dishes from simple and humble ingredients integral to South Asian cuisines such as lentils, vegetables & spices. The menu itself is centred around feasting and enjoying multiple dishes together such as curries, dhals, veg sides, breads and rice.
The bestselling dishes include Kale & Coconut Dhal, Hakka Noodles with Chilli Mogo and Gobi Pakora, whilst the Thali platter on its own is a perfect meal for 1 solution!
If you fancy a treat this Veganuary, you can enter our competition to win a FREE meal for two from Dhalings here. Competition ends 14th January. T&Cs apply.

If you’re fancying more of a café vibe this Veganuary, independent Middle-Eastern inspired coffee house Damascena is the place for you. Their food menu includes a truly extensive range of vegan options, and all of it is bursting with flavour.
From hearty soups to colourful salads and flatbreads, you will be truly spoilt for choice. Their Fuul Mahroos, pictured above, sounds particularly appetising, made with fava beans, sweet bell peppers, fresh chillies, tomatoes, and garlic.

Isaac’s indulgent Veganuary menu takes inspiration from classic American dishes and New York-style dining. For those who love a messy meal there's the Isaac’s Dirty Dog - Moving Mountains meat-free sausage and Isaac’s very own slow-braised chilli con carne, topped with sour cream. The Sweet Potato Poutine also sounds mouth-wateringly good - sweet potato fries smothered in BBQ gravy and spring onion. Yum!
A main dish from the Veganuary menu alongside dessert and a drink (a glass of Prosecco, vegan wine or beer, or a soft drink) is only £14.50.

Zindiya pride themselves on authentic Indian street food, and they have a whole menu full of vegan treats to choose from too including delicious Soya Tikka and tasty Okra Fries.
You can even indulge in a vegan High Chai Afternoon Tea, with vegan cardamom scones and a warming pot of Masala Chai made with soy milk!
