The Cuban Embassy

The Cuban Embassy

The Cuban Embassy has unveiled an exciting new menu of Cuban sandwiches and Latin American flavours that will whisk you away to Havana.

Inspired by the bars of La Habana and boasting an impressive 120 rums from around the world, The Cuban Embassy in Moseley aims to create a Latin American party in the suburbs of Brum.

Live music is also important to the venue, with performances six nights a week, and their house band Rhythms Del Toro performing their intoxicating blend of Latin and Latin Fusion until the early hours on weekends.

Why is the Cuban sandwich so special?

But as always at Dine, our favourite part is the food.

And we're in luck, as The Cuban Embassy have just released a new menu of Cuban sandwiches to enjoy alongside your rum of choice.

The classic Cuban sandwich is crafted from a delicious combination of ham, pulled pork, sweet mustard, pickles and Swiss cheese, all pressed and melted together on Cuban Bread.

The Cuban Embassy are serving them until 10pm Thursday to Saturday, and until 4pm on Sundays.

All the flavours of Cuba between two slices of bread...

There are lots of flavours to tempt you, from the crispy blackened chicken with chorizo and Monterey Jack cheese that makes up the 'Embassy Chicken Cubano', all the way to the 'Black Bean Cubano', which is a deliciously veggie combination of refried black bean fritters, guacamole, and feta cheese.

If fish is your favourite, then try it in an authentic Cuban sandwich alongside pickles, coriander, and lime mayo.

And for a real treat, indulge in loaded sweet potato fries (they come with all your favourite classic Latin American toppings inlcuding salsa and soured cream) to take your Cuban sandwich to the next level.

You can find the full menu here.

Join the Cuban Sandwich Club!

And if that's not enough, make sure to head down to their Cuban Sandwich Club every Thursday from 5-10pm.

Select any Cuban sandwich from their new menu and enjoy with regular fries and an alcoholic drink for just £9.95.

Choose from Mojitos, Cuba Libres and Palma Cristal Cuban Beer, and dance along to live music from resident musician Edwin Guerra to make the most of your Cuban feast.

So put down your cigar, grab your favourite rum, and tuck in!
