The Bond Company

Independent Birmingham has teamed up with Birmingham Seasonal Markets to bring you the next step in their revolution of local - The Independent Birmingham Festival

To differentiate this event from others, they’ve curated a line-up of high-end independent restaurant pop-ups, alongside having the best bars in Brum shaking up the drinks and multi award-winning street food vendors serving up tasty grub.

What’s more, the finest coffee in Birmingham will also be available to sip as you peruse the indoor market hall packed with the best independent retailers, artists, designers and makers to be found in our city.

In addition to incredible food and drink from the very best independent restaurants, street food traders and bars in Brum, there will also be a programme of live music (among other things) taking place throughout the day.

You'll be provided with guaranteed entertainment while you stuff your faces on some of the very best grub in Brum and sip on the best cocktails and craft beer.

What to expect on the day

Expect Rum cocktails from The Cuban Embassy, glorious beef short ribs and tacos being served up from Low 'N' Slow and The Church will be grilling huge chunks of meat over open flame and making Cajun-style sandwiches.

Rob Wood will be showcasing drinks from The Wilderness, Smultronställe and The Loft and Zindiya, giving you the opportunity to try some of the very best cocktails in the city.

Clink will also be creating a mobile bar especially for you, so that you can enjoy 4-6 draught craft beers straight from the tap.

On top of all that there will be waffles, multi award-winning Thai street food, wine, coffee, whisky, bubble tea, barbecued treats and all the gift ideas that you could possibly imagine in the indoor market hall.
