Sherbet Fountains, Black Jacks & Snickers: 'Sweetie Jar' inspired cocktails in the JQ

When you're a child the most exicting part of the day is being allowed to tuck into a big bag of sugary sweets. Now, the excitement probably arrives when you get home from work and pour yourself a glass of your favourite tipple...

As luck would have it, The Rose Villa Tavern have managed to combine to two!

Now you can sip on a selection of tasty concoctions that were designed for the adults, with the nostalgia and flavours of childhood.

They've unveiled a brand new menu full of tuck shop sweet treats, and all cocktails are served in traditional sweetie jars.

...And the best part is their new Sweetie Jar cocktails are 2 for £9 all day, everyday in January.

The Sugary Selection...

There's lots of inspiration taken from everyone's favourite sweeties, but here's a few of our favourites:

• If 'Sherbert Fountains' are your favourite then their fruity take on this sweetie classic will make you want to double dip. It's the perfect blend of Finlandia Mango vodka, orange, pineapple and lime juice, with a dash of pomegranate. 
• Or try a 'Cherry Drop' for an explosion of cheeky cherry flavours, made from Davna dark cherry vodka, Joile cherry liqueur, Jim Bean red stag bourbon, cranberry, and a little zesty fresh lime.
• If sweets aren't your thing, and you much prefer to indulge in rich chocolate, then the 'Snickers' might be for you. A decadent blend of Finlandia vodka, white chocolate liqueur, hazelnut noisette, pear juice, and a pinch of salt might just make you want to run a marathon to get one.
