Sticks'n'Sushi to open first Midlands restaurant in Birmingham this Autumn

Birmingham is about to get its first taste of Sticks’n’Sushi, as the much-loved Danish-Japanese restaurant group opens at Three Chamberlain Square in the heart of the city this autumn, bringing its signature mix of sushi, grilled sticks and stylish interiors to the city for the very first time.

The new restaurant will span an expansive ground-floor space with an adjoining terrace, large bar area and private dining. With room for up to 250 guests, it will accommodate both small and larger groups for drinking and dining in the heart of the city.

Driven by a clear commitment to learning, development and wellbeing, SticksʹnʹSushi credits its success to its people; and the new opening will see the team expand further with up to 60 new positions created for the Birmingham restaurant.

On the menu, expect the signature dishes that have built Sticks’n’Sushi’s loyal following - guests can expect sharing dishes of sushi, sashimi, salads and grilled sticks; available à la carte or in generous set menus, for both dine in and takeaway.

Popular dishes include Beef Tataki, beef fillet with miso aioli, truffle ponzu and artichoke crisps and Temaki Setto, DIY sushi rolls with lobster, wagyu tartare and avocado. From the grill, highlights come in the form ofGindara No Miso, miso-glazed black cod, Iberico Secreto, miso-cured black Iberian pork and Ramu Niku, lamb with garlic butter, spring onion and soy sauce.

Complementing the food menu, the drinks list delivers a curated selection of sake, Japanese teas, contemporary cocktails, premium spirits, and beer, including the brand’s Japanese Rice Lager – a collaboration with Danish brewery Mikkeller.

Whether stopping by for a quick lunch, sharing plates over cocktails, or settling in for one of the restaurant’s generous set menus, there’s something for every occasion.
