BRUM'S HUGELY EXCITING NEW FOOD HALL HAS ANNOUNCED THEIR OPENING DATE + A FIRST LOOK AT SAINT PAUL'S MARKET
The hype following the announcement of a new 10,000sqft food hall set to open on Mary Ann Street in the Jewellery Quarter (brought to you by the teams behind Independent Birmingham, Baltic Market and Buddha Belly) has been huge - and Brum, we can reveal that the opening date for this insanely epic new independent (and homegrown) food hall has been revealed as Friday 26 September!
Saint Paul's Market will feature 7 kitchens run by Brum's very best indie restaurants, 2 bars (serving cocktails, craft beers, wines, non-alcoholic cocktails and more), 500 seats across 2 floors (with a really cool mezzanine that overlooks the action below), a killer soundtrack, and a very large disco ball - all in one unbelievably awesome venue.
To get you all in the mood for feasting, here's their hugely exciting full foodie line-up that features some of the very best restaurants and independents in the city:
Chancer's - serving up mouth-watering fried chicken, waffles and beignets with fudge sauce
Tiger Bites Pig - serving up epic bao (some of which will be exclusive to Saint Paul's Market) and BBQ small plates
Colbeh - serving up insanely delicious Persian meats cooked over fire alongside an array of Persian small plates
Soi - serving up unbelievably good BBQ Thai small plates, Thai curries and wok-fried dishes
LA-POP - serving up customisable gelato popsicles, cheesecake pops, brownies with ice cream, chocolate-dipped strawberries, milkshakes, hot chocolates and coffees
Zindiya - serving up an array of Indian curries, thalis, grilled meats, snacks (think onion bhaji and samosa chaat), all packed with flavour
Corner Shop - serving up tasty Detroit-style pizzas topped with all manner of goodies, alongside delicious sides
