The Spanish restaurant and delicatessen group Lunya is planning to open a new site in Birmingham in the next 18 months.
Lunya serves Catalonian and Spanish food both in their physical stores and online.

The largest online Spanish deli in the UK, they stock over 1300 products, including traditional cheeses, fish, ham, and olives.
They also have a variety of Spanish wines, beers and spirits on offer. You can even order a hamper of food and drink as a gift.

Lunya strives towards ensuring that the majority of their products are imported from Spain, and they choose the best quality of each kind.
The new restaurant will seat around 80 to 150 people, and it follows on from the success of the branches in Liverpool and Manchester.
Tapas are a prominent feature of the Liverpool and Manchester menus, so they are likely to be served in Birmingham.
The existing venues hold interesting events such as tastings, so this could be on the cards for the new site.
Lunya is independently funded but the owners Peter and Elaine Kinsella are considering outside investment for expansion.
Peter said that they are looking to invest in a warehouse to increase capacity:
"Investment in a warehouse will enable us to negotiate better prices with producers and suppliers. Already, we have seen the benefit of that with reduced prices in our restaurant menu."

The couple are excited for the third site and their research is well under way.
Lunya's exact location and opening date are still to be confirmed.
