Celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo recently had to reassure diners that his restaurant business was not failing after it was announced that his chain of Pasta Bar restaurants went into liquidation.
He took to social media to post a video in which he reassured fans that his restaurant business was going “from strength to strength” and that the loss of his Pasta Bar chain would not affect this, with plans already underway to open new restaurants.
In light of this news, Individual Restaurants – the owners of the Gino D’Acampo restaurants – recently announced the launch of their new brand Riva Blu at the end of January.
The new Riva Blu restaurants will replace the Gino D’Acampo restaurant on Temple Street in Birmingham, as well as in Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds. They promise to “continue to deliver an authentic Italian dining experience”, with the same team of people at the helm.
According to their website, “At Riva Blu we take the finest locally sourced ingredients and add a touch of Italian 1960s high-society glamour to bring you an unforgettable dining experience. It’s time to embrace your inner dolce vita.”
Riva Blu has also promised a great series of events throughout the year, starting with Valentine’s Day in February.
