Umami launches Charity Dish of the Week to support local hospital

Umami Indian Kitchen in Harborne will choose an alternating 'charity dish of the week' every week.

Alll proceeds from sales of that dish will be donated to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB) Charity.

Customers who order the chosen item will receive an envelope and can pay any amount they wish for the dish.

Every penny will go to the QEHB Charity.

The organisation supports patients at the hospital by providing extra care and support on top of what the NHS offers.

Umami manager Abdul Hoque said:

“We are proud to be supporting this fantastic charity right on our doorstep. We have very personal links to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and would love to do what we can to support them.”

The campaign launches in the first week of December at the Harborne restaurant, and will continue throughout the New Year.
