Byzantium nominated for Best Mediterranean Restaurant In West Midlands 2016

Byzantium was nominated in the category of 'Best Mediterranean Restaurant 2016 in West Midlands' at The Food Awards England 2016.

The awards celebrate and reward the very best in English food hospitality, the servers, the specialists and suppliers.

Byzantium in Kings Heath offers dishes inspired from across the Mediterranean and is immensely popular, being fully booked on a regular basis.

Items on the menu include Italian arancini balls with prawns, salmon, risotto and mozzarella, Greek halloumi souvlaki and marinated pork belly with balsamic glaze.

Chefs also prepare Spanish albondigas meatballs with spicy tomato sauce, anchovy and black olive tapenade, and a mezze of courgette fritters, quinoa salad, hummus, tzatziki and pomegranate seeds.

French-inspired dishes include chicken ballotine with black olives and chorizo, and French bread with caramelised onions and Camembert.
