Their Katsu Curry is a traditional, thick curry with rich flavours but mild on spice.

The dish is cooked with your choice of chicken, prawns or vegetables coated in panko breadcrumbs.

It also comes accompanied by a mound of fragrant sticky rice.

Ed's Easy Diner serves classic American fare in a funky retro diner space, complete with red booths and a jukebox.

One of their most popular burgers is the hefty Big Bubba's Bacon and Cheese.

A farm-assured beef patty topped with griddled onions, with sweet-cured bacon and American cheese.

The burger comes on a toasted sesame bun, and with fries, onion rings and coleslaw, if you choose to make it a full plate.

Pho is all about Vietnamese cuisine; specifically the dish that can be considered Vietnam's national delicacy - Pho.

The dish is best described as a rich, hearty noodle broth with strong flavours from the stock used.

Pho Chin is a variety that includes tender slow-cooked beef brisket. The broth is traditionally enjoyed with chilli sauce.

Pho is also available made with chicken breast and tiger prawns, while vegetarian options include tofu and button mushroom.

5. Albóndigas con salsa - Tapas Revolution

Founded by Madrid chef Omar Allibhoy, Tapas Revolution is on a mission to make Spanish food massive.

Albóndigas con salsa consists of beef meatballs cooked in a vegetable, tomato and white wine sauce.

The classic Spanish tapa dish is made to his grandmother's own recipe, handed down through the generations.

Top tip: A hunk of crusty bread is almost obligatory to help lap up the rich juices.

Cocomacs is a local Birmingham micro-bakery, preparing and baking their goods fresh each day.

They do a range of Coconut Macaroons, available in a variety of six exotic flavours including Belgian milk, white and dark chocolate.
