Solihull Food & Drink Festival 2021

Fall head over heels with what’s on offer this year at the Solihull Food & Drink Festival, featuring the best of worldwide cuisine. You will be spoilt for choice with a huge selection of food and drink traders in the town centre.

They are bringing back the much-loved demo kitchen, delicious and diverse variety of food and drink, family entertainment and the live music stage.

They're also delighted to announce that Ainsley Harriott, one of the country’s favourite chefs for the past three decades, will be headlining the Solihull Food & Drink Festival 2021!

With events finally returning to the town centre, they were determined to make sure the much-loved Food & Drink Festival came back with a bang this year! So, who better to lead the celebrations than the fantastic Ainsley Harriott?

Awarded an MBE for his services to broadcasting and the culinary arts, Ainsley will be bringing his fresh, fun, and energetic approach to food to Solihull town centre with cooking demos and a book signing.

The fantastic Glynn Purnell will also be cooking at the festival this year. Often called the ‘Yummy Brummie’, Glynn started cooking professionally at the age of 14.

After training with top chefs including Gordon Ramsay, Gary Rhodes and Claude Bosi, Glynn travelled abroad to work with well-known Michelin starred chefs in Europe. Glynn is now the proud owner of Purnell’s Restaurant on Cornwall Street in Birmingham, which opened in July 2007 and was awarded a Michelin star in 2009.

You'll also get to meet Great British Bake Off 2020 Finalist Laura Adlington and BBC's Gastronaut Stefan Gates. We already know this is gonna be an event to remember.
