Welcome to The Whisky Club: New Bar Preview & Tasting Event

Discover Birmingham's newest bar and enjoy an exclusive introductory whisky tasting, courtesy of Birmingham Whisky Club founder Amy Seton.

Spend a few special hours getting to know Birmingham’s long-awaited whisky bar, taking shape right now in a Grade-II-listed space at the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter.

The bar is due to open fully in late February, meaning guests at this preview event will be among the first to see the finished space.

And you'll be the first to get a private whisky tasting in the new Tasting Room, discovering four different delicious drams.

Choose the date you prefer

There are two dates available: Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.

• Friday 23 February 2018 (7 - 10pm) 
• Saturday 24 February 2018 (2 - 5pm)

Welcome whisky cocktail and guided tour

Kick off the evening with a special whisky cocktail to welcome you, and get a guided tour of the characterful new bar and tasting rooms.

You'll hear about the journey from museum to bar, and learn about all the quirky features (including the striking 'whisky barrel' bar painstakingly fashioned from reclaimed timber).

Exclusive whisky tasting - great even if you're new to whisky

Then take your seat in the Tasting Room, reserved specially, and settle in for a guided tasting of four different whiskies,

It's designed to introduce you to a number of different whisky styles and regions, from smoky to peaty, Scotch to Japanese.

Bar owner and whisky club founder Amy Seton (also the brains behind the Whisky Birmingham festival) will lead, talking you through each one and answering any questions you have about the 'water of life'.

Special after-event drinks for guests

After the tasting, the bar will remain open with exclusive drinks promotions available for everyone who attended the event.

Tickets are £23 + £1.21 booking fee.
