At

16 August 2021

It’s National Rum Day today, and we have some exciting news.

Birmingham Rum Festival new date for 2022 is
Saturday 2nd July!

After having to cancel and rearrange twice due to the pandemic, Birmingham Rum Festival will return to The Cuban Embassy for its fifth festival.

This festival is a great celebration of rum with the taste of the Caribbean, against a backdrop of fantastic Latin American style. The Cuban Embassy stocks over 100 rums including Birmingham-based Burning Barn, Island Slice and Bay Noir, which are returning favourites to the festival.

At Birmingham Rum Festival, you’ll learn all about where the rum in your glass came from and the rich history behind each sip from the experts attending the event.

There will be a range of cocktails available to try, as well as being able to take home a bottle of your favourite from the rum shop.

The Cuban Embassy will be serving exotic street food with authentic Caribbean flavours, accompanied by live music performing salsa, samba and reggae favourites.

As usual, there will be two sessions of rum fun on Saturday 2nd July. Afternoon tickets are from 12pm until 4:30pm. Evening tickets are from 5:30pm until 10pm with prices starting at just £15. Get your tickets via their website
