Indulge in all things gin as Birmingham hosts ultimate Gin Battle

The Old Crown beer garden is being transformed into a winter wonderland full of gin... Introducing Gin Battle.

From 1st-3rd December 4 of the best gin distilleries in the country will be pitted against each other to see who will come out trumps and be crowned by Independent Birmingham as the winner of their Gin Battle.

Let the Battle Commence...

The distilleries fighting it out in this great Birmingham gin battle are: Langley’s (championed by The Church), Bulldog (championed by 40 St. Paul’s), Cotswolds (championed by Bourne and Co.) and Sibling (championed by The Jekyll and Hyde).

This is the opportunity to drink some awesome gins and gin cocktails (designed by these incredible independent bars), whilst having a great time with your friends and getting yourself in the festive cheer.

You get a free double G&T on entry, and four taster cocktails made by Brum's best bartenders from 40 St Paul's, The Church Inn, The Jekyll & Hyde, Bourne & Co..

Then during the evening each distillery will be championed by one of Birmingham’s best bartenders who will host a cocktail demonstration where they’ll showcase the distillery’s gin and you’ll be given the opportunity to taste each creation from all 4 bartenders.

Throughout the evening each signature G&T, and 4 special gin cocktails, will be available to purchase at the bar and delicious street food will be available throughout the evening to line your stomach for yet more gin.

Street Food and Sweet Treats...

The Middle Feast will be serving up delicious flatbreads, The Bournville Waffle Company will be slinging waffles left, right and centre, and Heavy Beat Brass Band are set to rock the mic, providing your live music fix.

Party games (wheel of misfortune) will be in full force, and on top of all that, there'll be even more gin.

Then at the end of the night, you vote with a token for your favourite distillery. 

Its definitely the event to get you in the festive spirit, with good company, and great gin.

Where Can I Get Tickets?

Tickets include: entry to the event, a free signature double gin and tonic (from your choice of distillery) and 4 gin cocktail tasters made by Brum’s best bartenders.
