Birmingham Cocktail Weekend returns this summer for its third year.
After two successful years, the Birmingham Cocktail Weekend has announced its plans to bring back its celebration of mixology in 2017.
From 14th-16th July, a Birmingham Cocktail Weekend wristband can earn you a new and exclusive cocktail in each participating venue for just £4.
They're all new concotions, and are only available to wristband holders over the three days of the event, providing the perfect opportunity to try a selection of signature cocktails.
Hotel du Vin will house this year's Courvoisier Hub, where wristbands can be collected before embarking on a tour of some of Birmingham's best-loved bars.
Thirty-one venues have confirmed they will be participating, including The Botanist, Gusto, Bodega and The Jekyll and Hyde, so there will be no shortage of flavour combinations.
Birmingham Cocktail weekend allows wristband-wears to explore the city through drink as the particiapting venues are spread across Birmingham. Cocktail lovers will be flocking to The Mailbox, with Tom's Kitchen and Malmaison taking part.
Broad Street will also prove popular, as Pushkar and Rub Smokehouse are both returning for another year.
Some unlikely locations are also going to transform into cocktail havens, including The New Alexandra Theatre and The Edwardian Tearooms.
Alex Nicholson-Evans, the founder and organiser of the Birmingham Cocktail Weekend, has said:
“In 2016 over 3,000 wristband wearers joined us to explore the city, try new flavours and get to know the brands behind some of our favourite cocktails. This year we’ve got an even bigger line up of incredible venues, it’s going to be a fantastic even and I am looking forward to announcing even more venues in the coming months. Wristband wearers can expect some great events too - with the schedule to be announced in the coming months.”
With Parisian cognac specialist Courvoisier named as the headline sponsor for 2017, and more participating venues than ever, Birmingham Cocktail Weekend looks set to celebrate mixology in style.
Early bird wristbands cost £8 and are on sale until Friday 14th April.
