For a Sunday roast with an extra touch of style, this gastropub on the border of leafy suburbs Harborne and Edgbaston is the perfect combination of cosy and classy.

3. Haggis, Neeps & Tatties (15%) | MacDonald Burlington Hotel | Centre

In third place was a quintessentially Scottish spread. The Berlioz Restaurant at this central Birmingham hotel serves up haggis with its trimmings, as part of the Scottish Steak Club menu.
