Discover the best food and drink experiences

The Wine Gang are heading to Brum armed with all the wine you could wish to taste.

The Wine Gang know their wine, and they know what other wine-lovers want. That's exactly why they're bringing their Winter Wine Festival to Birmingham, so they can celebrate your favourite tipple with everyone in the city who enjoys a glass or two.

After hosting successful festivals in Edinburgh, Bath, London, and Leeds, The Wine Gang are now bringing all their wine enthusiasm to Birmingham.

If this wonderful wine event sounds good to you, you'll find it all happening at The Cube on Saturday 7th October.

With a finishing time of 6pm and a location right on the doorstep of The Mailbox, you certainly won't be short of swanky restaurants if you want to continue your celebration of food and drink into the evening.

There'll be hundreds of wines to taste (yep, you read that right. Hundreds!), masterclasses to join, wine walks to highlight those not-to-be-missed wines, and The Wine Gang will be on hand to walk you through the day.

Meet the Experts

You'll be tasting wine samples alongside some of the biggest wine fans in the country...

Four of the UK's most well known and best-loved wine critics will be there to point you in the direction of their favourite bottles, answer any burning wine-related questions you might have, or to even just take a selfie!

Joanna Simon is House & Garden's wine expert, spent 22 years as wine correspondent for The Sunday Times and has edited two wine magazines. She really knows her stuff! Her favourite wines include Champagne and red Burgundy.

Anthony Rose is wine correspondent for The Independent. Though some of his favourites include Bordeaux and New World Riesling, he has a special place in his heart (and his wine cellar) for sake.

David Williams is the deputy editor for The World of Fine Wine, the author of two wine-related books, and judges international wine competitions. He loves wine from all over France, and is the wine correspondent for The Observer.

Jane Parkinson is the wine expert on BBC1's Saturday Kitchen, and she was crowned the International Wine & Spirit Competition’s Communicator of the Year 2016. She's passionate about food, and is a sucker for a smooth and seductive Barolo or Barbaresco.

Treat Yourself to the Masterclasses...

If you want to go the extra mile and immerse yourself in all of the wine-related events of the day, The Wine Gang have got your back with a  whole host of masterclasses to enjoy.
