New Langley's Gin summer terrace unveiled at The Bureau

26 December 2014

The Bureau, a vintage cocktail and deli bar in Birmingham's Colmore Business District, will open ‘The Langley's Gin Roof Terrace' in late June.

The Bureau Bar new terrace

The roof terrace is the second phase of The Bureau's opening and will feature weekly set menu barbecues by head chef, Stuart Devereaux. There will be a semi-permanent bar serving bottled beers, wines, champagne and The Bureau's cocktails. A select choice of cigars will also be on offer as an extra indulgence.

The Bureau's founders, Zack Foley and Paul Rutter recognised the potential of a rooftop bar and the more relaxed and fun vibe that it would bring to The Bureau's personality. The newly refurbished roof terrace has a more current style to add another dimension to the main bar's vintage elegance.

The rooftop of the 1903 Grade II listed building now features seated areas, available for private hire. The contemporary furnishings of the roof terrace are set against the original yellow brick chimneys and granite walls.

Director Zack Foley said:

"The Langley's Gin Roof Terrace is an absolute must for after work drinks this summer, a great weekend destination and ideal for the ‘after shop' lunch or pre-night-on-the-town' drinks! We hope to carry through the friendly and social vibe we've created within the bar, and we hope the roof terrace will only increase the fondness our customers have for The Bureau."

Langley's Gin is a premium gin distilled in Birmingham. They will host a sampling and mixology bar as Spirits & Wine Sponsor of Birmingham Independent Food Fair 2014.
