Praza restaurant 'Great Gatsby' launch // 26 March 2015

The great and good descended on the Georgian building on Hagley Road, and were greeted by a jazz band, an outdoor cocktail bar and a host of dancing flapper girls.

A New York taxi photo booth provided plenty of entertainment, but these photos by Jas Sansi reveal it was a night of high jinks across the venue.

Many of those present were local restaurateurs, while the professionals of the Colmore Business District made up a strong contingent.

But this was no staid networking event. As the champagne and cocktails flowed, all hair was well and truly let down.

Praza restaurant by Pushkar is now open at 94 - 96 Hagley Road, where the Rose Muree used to be.
