Celebrating a cluckin’ good first year!

Based in Birmingham’s quirky food-scene, The Jewellery Quarter, The Rebel Chicken will be celebrating its first year anniversary on Pitsford Street!
From 12PM on Friday the 31st of May until Sunday the 2nd of June, the rotisserie chicken-based restaurant will be serving up a variety of chicken-style dishes with an immense selection of cocktails, wines, beers and gins; offering 30% off of all drinks and foods for the launch of their new beer garden (seating 120 people) and brunch menu. After striking popularity in the Jewellery Quarter with their uniquely built charcoal rotisserie, the restaurant wants to add a little extra to their variety of chicken platters with a brunch menu. On the menu there will be spicy red merguez sausage and bacon sandwiches, eggs benedict, royale and florentine, and finally The Rebel’s bloody Mary.
To complement the new editions to Rebel Kitchen, The Night Owl’s Tom Mason with be providing the soul (and funk) of the evening with Ben Drummond from the Sunflower lounge who will be providing hours of soulful psychedelic until 7PM. You can expect to have succulent charred dishes cooked over sizzling coal imported from Cuba and sweet cherry wood. Cooking on a charcoal rotisserie is said to infuse a rich smoky flavour to the food. This looks like a fantastic event to check out and is located just outside of the city centre.
