Carnivore? You'll have a new spot to sink your teeth into this spring, as Gaucho brings its posh brand of Argentinian-style steak to the city.
Gaucho Birmingham will be at 55 Colmore Row, joining other eateries gunning for the business district's discerning clientele.
But as it's just a few minutes from the centre, Colmore is also attracting visitors bored of what the New Street area has to offer.
What's on the menu at Gaucho Birmingham?
Star of the show is undoubtedly the steak, which will reportedly be top of the range and available in a variety of cuts.
The starters menu will feature marinated shrimp, cured beef salad, empanadas (meat patties) and cured beef salad.
Besides beef steak, chicken, cod and lamb cutlets are also available as mains.
What will Gaucho Birmingham look like?
Developers say the design will be 'aspirational' and 'top tier' with an emphasis on luxury and style.
As founder Zeev Godik told the Birmingham Mail, the premises at 55 Colmore Row were chosen to fit this ambition:
"We've been looking at Birmingham for some time but finding the right location was crucial. It had to look and feel right for the brand.
"All our restaurants are individual and we needed a space that enabled us to tell the story of Gaucho to the full and create a memorable experience for customers in the city."
When does Gaucho Birmingham open?
We don't have a precise date yet, but the restaurant is set to open in May 2017.
