Dishoom Brings Diwali Event to Birmingham!

Birmingham is getting ready to celebrate the Festival of Lights in style, as Dishoom brings its Diwali party to Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery on Monday 2 November.

For one evening, the museum will swap its usual quiet atmosphere for a lively celebration of South Asian culture, with music, colourful traditions, delicious food and plenty of reasons to hit the dancefloor.

Diwali celebrates the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. Traditionally marked by family gatherings, sweet treats and fresh beginnings, the festival is a time for communities to come together. Dishoom's Birmingham celebration promises to capture that spirit with an evening designed for sharing, dancing and making memories.

The soundtrack will be curated by BBC Asian Network, Birmingham's very own champion of South Asian music and culture. Guests can also enjoy intricate mehndi designs, alongside a vegetarian or vegan feast and complimentary chai.

Taking place at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery in Chamberlain Square, the event runs from 7pm until 11.30pm and tickets are £35 per person.
