Bromsgrove pop-up takes over Grade II listed building

Epi, touted as Bromsgrove's first pop-up restaurant, has announced its acquisition of one of Bromsgrove's oldest properties, 89a High Street, formerly known as Langtrys.

The property has undergone a major refurbishment, transforming the property into a modern eatery, while maintaining the Grade II listed building's heritage and charm.

The building will have dual usage. From Tuesday to Saturday during the day, the team will operate as an informal bistro, known as ‘The Courtyard', serving their exclusive blend of coffee from Chartley Coffee Company as well as lighter homemade lunches.

Wednesday to Saturday evenings will see ‘Epi at The Courtyard' offering menus of three, five and seven courses, changing monthly, and showcasing locally-source produce. Optional wine pairing will be supplied by Connolly's Wine Merchants.

Epi at the Courtyard will continue to build on Epi's growing reputation, which saw it scoop the Open Table diner's choice restaurant accolade and also triumph as TripAdvisor's number one restaurant in Bromsgrove, while still operating only as a pop up.

The newly constructed ‘snug' bar will feature some unusual cocktails on its menu, from Rhubarb and Rosehip Fizz to Apple and Locally-Foraged Elderflower Gin. They will also continue to stock local ales supplied by Birds Brewery.
