Best Bottomless Brunch in Birmingham
The weekend is almost upon us and that means one thing: it’s time to let our hair down. In her guest post this week, Laura McEwan of Bite Your Brum is bringing us the top venues for bottomless brunch in Birmingham.
Whether you like to keep it traditional with fizz and smashed avocado on toast, or you’re feeling a little fancier and want to splash out on unlimited cocktails and Sunday lunches – there’s a bottomless brunch in Birmingham to suit all tastes and budgets. Here’s some of Laura’s tried and tested favourites.
It's party time every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 12 pm to 3 pm! Jump on our bottomless brunch menu which features two dishes from the following: tomato & pancetta bruschetta; carpaccio of smoked salmon; a Margherita pizza; chicken arrabbiata; avocado & mozzarella bruschetta; mini burgers filled with cheddar & jalapeno; strawberry & pistachio mousse and tiramisu. You can wash it down with three bottomless cocktails (choose one) and unlimited prosecco.
Aluna
If you fancy something a bit different and love a Porn Star Martini, the Aluna bottomless brunch option is a good shout. There are different options available from £29.95 to £37.50, including cocktail add-ons for those looking to make it a bit more bougie. Guests can have a main and a dessert including club sandwiches and cheesecake. Runs from midday to 4 pm and is ideal for larger group bookings.
The Distillery
This isn’t a cheap option per se considering it’s in a pub, but it’s a good choice if you’ve got a big appetite and are more into lunch than breakfast. If you fancy sipping on unlimited Bellinis or Prosecco while eating the likes of fried chicken and waffles, The Distillery is your place to go. It’s available on Saturdays from 12pm to 4pm, in two-hour sittings. Enjoy either two courses for £38 or three for £42pp in a canal-side location.
The Lost and Found
If you like a bit of whimsy with your brunch cocktails, this city centre bar is a good shout. Guests can choose any brunch dish with bottomless Aperol Spritz, Prosecco, Mimosas or Bloody Marys for £29.95pp, making it one of the best value bottomless brunches in Birmingham. Dishes include lots of breakfast friendly options plus treats like the Croque Madame with Butlers Mature Cheddar rarebit, sliced honey roast ham and fried free-range egg. Served every Saturday, 11am – 3pm.
Saint Paul’s House
Fancy going bottomless with a roast dinner? On Sundays, the offering is a hearty roast with all the trimmings while on Saturdays you’ll get a three-course brunch. Either way, you’ll be able to enjoy plenty of fizz, wine and gin rose with other drinks varying on the day for a very reasonable £35pp on Saturdays or £30pp on Sundays. Slots are 2 hours and start from 10am.
My choice would be the Sunday sitting as it’s great value for money and they also include wine.
Gas Street Social
A bottomless brunch that includes beer? It’s a miracle! You can get unlimited beers, Bloody Marys, Mimosas or Bellinis added to a brunch dish for £19.50 at Gas Street Social – and the best bit is it’s available all week, not just the weekend. Selected dishes available with this offer include breakfasts and burgers. Available from 11pm – 6.30pm on weekdays and from 10am – 6.30pm at the weekends.
Siamais
Running Friday to Sunday in a really pretty venue, this bottomless is perfect for Thai food lovers. Depending on which day you visit the offering changes slightly regarding drinks, but whatever package you choose you’ll get 2 courses (go for the green curry) with unlimited Prosecco or Mimosas. Additional cocktails available depend on the package you book but can include cosmopolitans and Porn Star Martinis. Costs £32.50 – £39.95pp or make it 3 courses for an extra £3.95 depending on which package you pick and runs at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm.
Tonight Josephine
Probably Brum’s rowdiest bottomless, you’ll arrive at Tonight Josephine to a welcome cocktail and then be fuelled by 1 hour of bottomless bubbles and beers, plus a burger of your choice, all for £39 - £55pp. Ticket price includes entertainment for 2 hours including impersonators and drag artists, plus there are games, competitions and a lot of singing.
Brunch themes at Tonight Josephine vary, with the current main attraction being a 'Mamma Mia Reloaded' brunch that promises mouth-watering food and drinks all set to your favourite ABBA tunes.
The Stable
If like me you enjoy eating pizza and sipping on cider, this is probably the best choice for you. Offers beer and cider options which most BB don’t, plus unlimited fizz and your choice of pizza to soak it all up. You also get a choice of dessert, if you’re willing and able to fit it in. Popular venue and close to lots of other bars if you fancy staying in the city centre after brunching. With 2 courses costing just £25pp (£29pp from 8th October) this is a really affordable way to do bottomless brunch in Birmingham, and something a little different to the usual brunching options. Available every Saturday from 11.30am-4pm.
The Button Factory
Found in the Jewellery Quarter, The Button Factory’s bottomless brunch is available on Saturdays from 12pm to 4pm with a choice of sittings that last 2 hours. You can pick two courses for £38 or three for £42, which includes unlimited fizz plus your choice of food. The brunch burger is a good shout to line the stomach, with smoked bacon, spiced sausage, melted cheese, poached egg and hash browns in a soft bap. Look out for special bottomless events like the drag brunch.
Urban Café
Bottomless brunches in Birmingham for true breakfast lovers are a staple at Urban Cafe. For just £34.95 a visit to Urban Cafe will get you a brunch dish and unlimited Bucks Fizz, Prosecco, Bloody Marys, Espresso Martinis and Brewdog Punk IPA every Saturday from 10am-5:30pm and every Sunday from 10am-3pm. The menu is heavily geared around breakfast, with excellent meaty and vegan brekkies as well as stacked pancakes. And avocado.. so much avocado. Sittings are 2 hours long.
Dirty Martini
If you want bottomless brunches in Birmingham that aren’t just about Prosecco you might find the Dirty Martini options best bang for your buck. Food is savoury light bites for sharing served in a swish birdcage (if that’s your bag) and you’ll be sipping on martinis (good if you like espresso marts) and fruity gin and tonics as well as unlimited fizz or beer for £37.50pp. They've also recently introduced a selection of limited edition cocktails to enjoy as part of your bottomless brunch, so now is a better time than ever to check it out!
Lulu Wild
