The seventh Birmingham Rum Festival takes place this Saturday (29th June) at the city’s home of rum, the Cuban Embassy in Moseley.
Grab your mates and soak up the summer vibes this weekend with live music, street food and of course plenty of rum fun with 12 delicious blends to try and plenty of tropical cocktails to enjoy. Tickets available here
Here are ten rum cocktails that you won’t want to miss:
First up, Uche Love – Get ready to fall in love with this tropical rum cocktail. This blend of Uche Coconut Rum, sparkling coconut water, lychee syrup and a hit of lime will have you dreaming of sand and sunsets.

We’re excited to try State of Rum’s Banana Cake Daiquiri, the perfect slice of the Caribbean with Banana Cake Rum, pineapple juice, lime and honey.

Queen Cleo will be showcasing their Cleo’s Rumtini. This aromatic blend of spiced rum, Cointreau, apple juice and angostura bitters. Will it be crowned your favourite on 29th June?

Next up is Manatii’s Planter's Punch. Served over crushed ice, this refreshing cocktail keeps it simple with a mix of Manatii Rum, sugar syrup and fresh lime juice – perfection.

Sometimes there’s nothing better than a traditional Caribbean rum punch, and we’re looking forward to trying Old J’s version. Their blend of both Old J Gold and Old J Cherry, mixed with pineapple juice, orange juice, and grenadine is guaranteed to have you dreaming of tropical climes.

Move over Dark n' Stormy, Oualie’s Thunderstorm is a mix of Oualie Oak Aged Rum, peach schnapps, pineapple juice and grenadine finished with a maraschino cherry. Hopefully the name won’t match the weather on Saturday!

Prepare to have your taste buds fired up with Black Dragon’s Fire Within cocktail. They’ve taken their spiced rum and combined it with the delicious tastes of white chocolate, ginger and coconut water.

If you love a refreshing hit of mint you’ll love Cihuatán’s Jade Mojito. Cihuatán rum is muddled with lime, white sugar, peppermint and sparkling water to create the perfect summer cooler.

Last but not least, Kromanti’s Spiced Peach and Honey Daiquiri is a real treat for the taste buds. A unique blend of Kromanti Rum, peach juice peach schnapps, lime, honey and orange juice.
