Last minute choices for where’s best to dine this Valentines Day…

Some say poetry is the food of love, but sorry, here at Dine Birmingham, we’d always say cut straight to the food!

Finding "The One" (and by that, we mean choosing where to wine and dine your special someone on Valentine's Day) can be tricky, but don't worry - we've got you covered! Read on for our top picks for places to eat this Valentine's Day and don't forget to raise a glass to Cupid on his big day!

GAUCHO

If you’re looking to push the boat out this Valentine’s Day, the dazzling, sexy and stylish Gaucho is the ultimate destination for impressing your loved-one.

You can also enjoy complimentary Champagne and chocolate on us!! That's right, enjoy a complimentary glass of Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé and Godiva chocolate when you dine at Gaucho on the evening of the 14th (quote DineHub when pre-booking).

They will also be offering a pink promotion on Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé throughout the week!

GUSTO

Already a popular date night hotspot, nothing says “I love you” like a romantic meal under Gusto’s famous twinkly fairy lights in Birmingham.

They've created a couple of adorable specials, just for Valentine's weekend! First up - the Pornstar Martini Cheesecake (adorably served in a martini glass!), treating your other half to an elegantly Italian evening will definitely score you more than a few brownie points! 😍

THE IVY TEMPLE ROW

A.A. Gill once said that ‘a table at The Ivy is one of the most sought-after pieces of furniture in London,’ but now you can spoil the one you love with a charmingly decadent evening at The Ivy, right here in Birmingham! Famously popular with celebrities, you can expect exquisite food, exceptional service, chic Art Deco surroundings and all the unadulterated glitz your hearts desires. The Ivy is the place to go this Valentine’s Day to show off the gorgeous girl or guy on your arm!

CHAKANA

Celebrated Michelin-starred chef Robert Ortiz has poured his heart into opening the first ever Peruvian restaurant in Birmingham. Chakana is situated within the walls of a beautiful old bank in Moseley (just outside of the city centre) and we simply adore its uniqueness!

The name Chakana originates from an ancient Peruvian symbol used to represent individuals living in harmony with eachother and nature – such a romantic concept! Chakana has very special multi-course tasting menu on offer this Valentine’s weekend. A must-visit for foodie couples who are longing for something a bit different!

Happy Valentines Day Dining!
