There are some great things to do around Brindleyplace and Broad Street.

Make the most of a summer staycation by staying a the wonderfully elegant Hyatt hotel! They are currently offering a 2 night stay with a 3rd night FREE. This offer is bookable via this link

For a welcoming pint and small plates, you should also head to their bar, the Gentleman & Scholar which is currently offering 30% off food and drinks to mark their 30th birthday.

Breakfast at Cosy Club

Sat on The Waters Edge in the hub of Brindleyplace, this great new venue is certainly cosy! Their Breakfast Club offer is any brunch dish and any size hot drink for only £8.50. Available Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 11.30am.

Enjoy a slap up Cosy Club breakfast with the usual trimmings or venture into something new with their Huevos Rancheros: toasted flour tortilla, topped with rose harissa, black beans, avocado, lime, chilli & tomato salsa, coriander and two fried eggs with your choice of pan-fried chorizo or field mushroom and feta. Yum!!

Spicy Lunch at Siamais

For those who like something sexy, stylish and cool, then this blossom filled retreat in Oozell's Square is the perfect setting. Teamed with the tastiest Thai food in Brum, it's one of our favourite spots.

Give their cocktail list a whirl too, full of visually enticing creations and their Bottomless Brunch is perfect for a girlie get together.

Afternoon sightseeing

We love the Birmingham Sealife Centre for some aquatic fun. Emerge yourself into the underwater world and meet their friendly animals as you find your way through the spacious aquarium centre.  Whether its an outing with families, friends, or animal lovers you'll enjoy spending  couple of hours here exploring.

You can also visit the newly reopened IKON gallery in Brindleyplace which is spread across two floors, displaying creative art from around the world in a variety of ways including sound, film, mixed media, photography, painting, sculpture, and installation.

Casual Pint In The Sunshine

Sat along the bustling James Brindley canal, The Canal House is a lovely place for a sunny summer catch up with your social bubble! Due to social distancing it won't get as busy as this, so it's a safe way to enjoy a relaxing pint or two in the sun.

Date Night

Add some sexy sparkle to your curry night and head to Dil Bar at the top of Broad Street, located before the cinema. Try their signature dish of Chicken Tikka Lababdar - a traditional Mughlai chicken recipe. This lip smacking cuisine is a delectable blend of aromatic spices and tender chicken pieces then garnished with some fresh cream and chopped coriander leaves in a nice bowl;  a real taste explosion. They are taking part in Eat Out To Help Out too.

Late night night-cap

There are two Be At One bars in the city, one near New Street and the other in Brindleyplace and it's does 2 for 1 cocktails weekdays and on a Saturday afternoon! Great service, an unbeatable party atmosphere and a pretension-free attitude! So double the fun for cocktail lovers.
